IMG_5763.PNG

A private, portable vault for securely storing notes, passwords, recovery information, links, and other important details—without relying on a cloud account.

VaporVault is encrypted locally, offline by default, and designed to remain simple enough for everyday use.

Available Builds

VaporVault Standard
Designed for plug-in installations and desktop use.

VaporVault Pro
Optimized for portable, battery-powered operation.

Both versions use the same unified VaporVault 4.2.1 firmware and support both compatible hardware platforms.

Private When You Want It. Connected When You Need It.

Switch between two operating modes without reflashing:

Private Mode creates a direct, self-contained Wi-Fi network for accessing your vault without an internet connection.

Home Wi-Fi Mode securely connects VaporVault to your local network for convenient access from computers, phones, and tablets.

A triple press of the device button switches between modes.

New in 4.2.1

  • Completely redesigned mobile and desktop interface

  • Streamlined browser-based onboarding and Wi-Fi provisioning

  • Local encryption for stored vault content

  • Passphrase and optional PIN protection

  • Persistent authenticated sessions while the vault remains open

  • Customizable device name and private Wi-Fi credentials

  • Renameable, color-coded folder tabs

  • Dedicated Media & Links tab in Home Wi-Fi Mode

  • YouTube embedding and local link launching

  • Encrypted device-to-device transfer and cloning

  • Improved mobile captive-portal experience

  • Support for vaporvault.local and direct local IP access

  • VaporVault Console for desktop management

Simple First-Time Setup

Connect VaporVault by USB and use the web installer to load the latest firmware and enter your local Wi-Fi information.

After installation, choose Launch VaporVault to continue onboarding directly in your browser. No phone-based setup is required.

Updating Your Vault

Choose the installer that matches your hardware and intended operation.

A standard firmware update preserves stored vault content and settings. A factory installation completely erases the device and returns it to first-time setup.

Create a backup before performing a factory installation.
