[ Plug in. Arrival knows what to do ]

SS_ 2026-07-13 at 2.00.40 AM.png

Turn connected storage into a repeatable workflow.

Arrival is a native Mac utility that watches for removable devices and runs the workflow you assign to each one.

Plug in a voice recorder, camera card, USB drive, or external SSD. Arrival can recognize it, find the files you want, copy them to the right place, verify the transfer, launch the next application, and tell you when the job is done.

No repetitive browsing. No manually rebuilding the same folder structure. No wondering whether everything copied correctly. Just connect the device and let Arrival handle the routine.

[ FEATURES ]

Recognize your devices

Register a recorder, camera card, USB drive, or external SSD once. Arrival recognizes it when it comes back.

Build reusable workflows

Choose what to scan, which files to include, where they should go, how duplicates should be handled, and what should happen next.

Browse the device directly

Select a specific folder on the connected device instead of scanning and copying everything.

Import only new files

Arrival keeps a local processing history so previously imported files can be skipped automatically.

Copy and verify

Files are copied through a safe temporary-file process and can be verified with SHA-256 before Arrival marks the transfer complete.

Organize as you import

Create dated destination folders, filter by file type, and apply naming rules to keep incoming files organized.

Launch the next step

Open the destination in Finder, launch another app, open imported files, or continue into a transcription or photography workflow.

Know when it is done

Use native notifications, distinct status sounds, and optional spoken announcements such as:

“Import complete. The device is safe to remove.”

See what happened

Arrival keeps an activity history of completed, cancelled, skipped, and failed workflows.

Runs from the menu bar

Arrival stays available without taking over your desktop. Close the main window and device monitoring continues in the background.

Your files stay local

Arrival is designed around local processing and local history. It does not require a cloud account to recognize devices, copy files, or verify transfers.

Arrival 1.0 is the first public release and is under active development.

More actions, templates, refinements, and automation options are planned as development continues.
